Monday morning and I took an alternative route to work.
I was travelling to Hamilton Island to catch up with some old friends and to meet some new clients.
When given the opportunity to make the short trip from Mackay to Hamilton Island to provide some financial planning services to the island staff I was easily persuaded. The wonderful people at Hamilton Island Enterprises are keen to offer their workforce a range of services, including financial planning, that might not otherwise be available to them on the island. It has been interesting meeting some really interesting people from all different walks of life and helping them with their goals and plans. Now it is time to catch up on some emails before I can relax and unwind. Tomorrow looks like being another busy day before heading back to Mackay in the late afternoon.
